Our Mission To Protect Our Comminuty

Have you received your COVID-19 Vaccine?

Portsmouth City Health is continuing to put the safety of our patients, associates and providers first. But as the number of COVID-19 cases continues to climb, it may require changes in our visitor policies, hours of operation, or healthcare services. We’ll post those changes here, along with the lastest updates on the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Quarantining While vaccination and mask usage are critical components to ensuring a safe school environment, we offer an in-school alternative to quarantining students and school staff at home who have been exposed to COVID-19 in a school environment to support in-school learning and reduce the strain.
Vaccines that may prevent COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, are an important step toward stemming the worldwide pandemic. Find out about the authorized vaccines, how they work, possible side effects, the benefits of being vaccinated.
COVID-19 tests are not a screening method for coronavirus, but are used to confirm suspected cases in people with symptoms of infection or to test people who are known to have been exposed to the virus. If you have not been exposed to someone who has tested positive for the virus, it’s not necessary to be tested for COVID-19 unless you have symptoms such as fever, fatigue or cough. Patients of any age will be tested regardless of ability to pay, and no copays will be charged for the COVID-19 test.
